Frankia Neo Liner 7.0 L: a familiar bestseller in fresh new clothes
Just like with the Noctra Liner, Ronny and Niels got to inspect the new Neo Liner up close at Caravan Salon Düsseldorf. Frankia carries the new design language of the Noctra range over to its more compact Neo line. The result: a familiar, popular model that now visibly settles into the rest of the Frankia range. They liked what they saw, and immediately secured one for our own stand at Mobicar.
A familiar base, more freedom of choice
The Neo Liner remains built on the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter, with a 9-speed automatic and 150 hp as standard. Depending on the version, you choose between 3.5 or 4.5 tonnes. At a compact length of just under 7 m and a width of 2.24 m, the Neo Liner offers a continuous interior height of 2 m. That's partly thanks to Frankia's signature double-floor concept, standard on every floorplan: storage and technical components such as the fresh water tank and heating are partly built in between the chassis rails, which lowers the centre of gravity and, according to Frankia, has a noticeably positive effect on the driving feel. The rear garage has an interior height of 1.20 m, plenty of room to stand bikes upright.
A living area with more lounge character
The main change is at the front: an L-shaped seating area replaces the previous half-dinette, for more of a lounge feel and everyday usability. The accompanying table has been enlarged and, where needed, can be extended simply by pressing on the tabletop. For the fridge, you get to choose: an optional, ceiling-height 138-litre compressor fridge acts as a kind of space-dividing "tower", while the standard worktop-height fridge gives a more open sightline through the vehicle. A matter of personal preference between openness and separate zones.
One bathroom, two functions at the push of a button
Every floorplan shares the same compact 2-in-1 combi bathroom. At the push of a button, either the washbasin with tap or the bench toilet slides out, and to put it away again, you simply slide the element back until it clicks into place. Depending on what you need, this creates either a spacious shower area or a full toilet, within the same compact space.
A fresh interior, five styles
What used to be called the Neo MI is now the Neo Liner, and with that name comes the same lighter, more homely look that the low-profile Neo Cruiser already received in 2025. The interior follows the same materials and colours: a combination of light Visby-White wood tones with darker contrasts, for a more open feel. Upholstery comes in cream or anthracite, complemented by five style worlds: Sun, Ocean and Peach for those who want colour, and the more neutral Dune and Desert. Cushions and upholstery come from the German premium supplier Rohleder. The lighting concept has also been further developed: ambient lighting around the windows can be dimmed separately from the main lighting, for a cosier feel in the evening.
Exterior: Light or Dark, and choose your own driver's door
As standard, the Neo Liner comes in the lighter "Light" look, with the darker "Dark" variant available as an option, both aligned with the Noctra range's design language. Just like with the Noctra Liner, it's your choice: every Neo Liner can be ordered with or without a driver's door.
Heating: gas, diesel, or both
As standard, the Neo Liner comes fitted with a Truma Combi 6. For those who'd rather skip gas heating altogether, a diesel heater or the combined Truma CombiNeo are available. An added benefit of the diesel option: you save the weight of the gas bottles, relevant for anyone wanting to stay at 3.5 tonnes.
A choice of 3 original floorplans
In the 7.0 L, the beds run lengthwise, at the rear above the garage. Under and beside the beds there's room for wardrobes and extra storage compartments. Alongside the 7.0 L, Frankia also offers the Neo Liner in two other floorplans. The 7.0 B opts for a transverse bed at the rear instead of lengthwise beds. The 6.6 H, the most compact of the three, stands out with an electric lift-up bed at the front, an XL kitchen and, exclusive to this floorplan, an Alde diesel water heater.
