On this page, we let you know what data we collect when you use our website, why we collect this data and how we use it to improve your user experience. That way you understand exactly how we work.

The GDPR legislation - General Data Processing Regulation -
is a new European legislative framework with direct effect
for the processing of personal data. It replaces the
European Privacy Directive.

This new legislation means new rights for data subjects and obligations for processors and controllers.

This privacy policy is just one of the many steps we are taking to this end. Upon request, we are happy to make available our documentation with measures taken.

  • Customers and staff of Vanomobil can request their corresponding personal data at any time. Upon request, Vanomobil will provide the requested data - physical documents or online - as soon as possible.

  • A data breach must be reported to the Privacy Commission within 72 hours of discovery/perception (not the occurrence of). Our partner Combell assumes this responsibility as processor.

4. Right of renunciation

Consumers do not have the right to renounce a purchase.

Although article 80 of the Trade Practices Act foresees a period of 7 working days for the consumer to renounce to the agreement, this renunciation right does not apply to contracts concluded via the website.

Pursuant to the Royal Decree of 18 November 2002, distance contracts relating to accommodation, transport, restaurant and leisure services are, under certain conditions, excluded from the scope of application of articles 79 and 80 of the Act of 14 July 1991 on commercial practices and consumer information and protection.

This exemption for the tourism sector was prompted by the specificity of the services provided in this sector and is in line with European directive on distance selling, which also provides for an exemption for services relating to accommodation, transport, the restaurant business and leisure.
