Bürstner B66: het jubileumfeest gaat door, nu met drie indelingen
Bürstner started out in 1924 in Kehl, Germany, as a simple furniture workshop, before making the move into building motorhomes 66 years later. We celebrated that last year with the B66 range, and that celebration is now being extended. The B66 campervan was instantly our most popular campervan model, and the two new floorplans also drew plenty of interest at Caravan Salon Düsseldorf. Even we were surprised, and we're convinced they'll surprise you too. Where there was only one floorplan last year, you can now choose from three: the 600, the 640 and the 644.
Three floorplans, three ways to travel
The 600 is the most accessible floorplan, with a transverse bed you remove during the day to make room for bulkier cargo like e-bikes. The 640 follows the same logic, but with a lengthwise bed instead. The 644 takes a completely different approach: by day you enjoy a unique, retro-inspired U-shaped lounge, which converts into a bed at night. Bringing bikes along is still possible here too, with some room underneath the fixed lounge.
A distinctive look
Once again this year, the B66 sets itself apart from the rest of the range with its recognisable look: a standard awning for relaxed stops, and the Lanzarote Grey colour available as an option. Inside, depending on the floorplan, you choose between three different seating areas, each finished in full leather in Chocolate, Cream or Stone.
Generously equipped
The B66 is built on the familiar Fiat Ducato base, with 140 hp and an automatic gearbox as standard, complemented by 16-inch alloy wheels and extensive driver assistance systems. In the kitchen, you cook on a two-burner gas hob, with an 84-litre compressor fridge including a freezer compartment. The bathroom uses a Vario bathroom system that creates extra space while showering, with an integrated cassette toilet and a 90-litre fresh water tank.
Sleep your way
Transverse bed, lengthwise bed, or the convertible lounge: each floorplan has its own sleeping solution, with multi-zone comfort foam mattresses and LED reading lights right by the bed. Optionally, a sleeping roof further expands the sleeping capacity.
