Vanomobil becomes the exclusive distributor of Corigon in Belgium
With ten strong brands in our portfolio, it may seem like Vanomobil doesn’t need any expansion. Yet we deliberately chose to welcome a new brand: Corigon. Why? Because the motorhome market is changing, and we want to make sure every customer can find the right camper with us – in every budget and for every type of traveler.
The heart of the market: €60,000 – €80,000
Today, nearly half of all motorhome sales are in this price range. It’s an important segment, with more and more brands offering attractive models: motorhomes that look good, are well equipped, and far more affordable than many traditional brands.
Our established volume brands – such as Adria, Bürstner, and Knaus – have gradually shifted towards the mid- and high-end segment in recent years. They’re beautiful and technologically advanced campers, no doubt, but not always attainable for customers who want to stay within that popular price range.
Chausson remains, but it’s not enough
Fortunately, with Chausson we still have a brand that is very competitive in this segment. Sales figures confirm that clearly. But we cannot distribute Chausson in all our branches, which means that customers in Lokeren currently lack a full alternative.
And then came Corigon…
That’s why we’re thrilled that the Erwin Hymer Group – Europe’s market leader behind brands such as Bürstner, Niesmann+Bischoff, and Hymer – has decided to launch a new brand: Corigon.
Corigon was specifically developed to compete in this crucial segment, combining German quality, a strong standard equipment package, and modern design with a surprisingly sharp price. And best of all: Vanomobil has been selected as the exclusive distributor for Belgium.
What can you expect?
We were able to contribute ideas during the development of Corigon – about layouts, equipment, and pricing. The result is a range of motorhomes that perfectly match what many customers are looking for:
- Corigon Advanced (Fiat) – The top model: a luxurious semi-integrated with twin beds, separate shower, linear kitchen, and face-to-face seating. Standard with solar panel, awning, heated waste water tank, automatic transmission, and more. Price: €75,000 – €80,000.
- Corigon Pure (Fiat) – A complete 7-meter semi-integrated with linear kitchen, face-to-face seating, and multifunctional bathroom. Price: €65,000 – €70,000.
- Corigon Slim (Ford) – A compact semi-integrated with a powerful 165 hp automatic, offering the same beloved layout and comfort. Price: €65,000 – €70,000.
The first Advanced models have already arrived in Deerlijk and Lokeren. The other models will follow soon.
