Westfalia is taking a bold new step in the world of minicampers with the introduction of the Kipling, the very first minicamper with a fixed transverse bed – all within a compact footprint. At Vanomobil, we’re particularly excited about this model, which sets a new standard in the segment of smart, everyday usable campers. Built on the proven Ford Transit Custom base, the Kipling measures 5.45 m in length and just 2.04 m in height, making it perfectly suited for city use as well as longer journeys.
Compact yet surprisingly spacious
What truly sets the Kipling apart is its fixed transverse bed at the rear (approx. 1.90 × 1.30 m), permanently available without the need for conversion. Thanks to ingenious sidewall extensions and a removable slatted base, there’s still space for an XXL storage compartment beneath the bed. An optional second bed in the pop-up roof (192 × 128 cm) features a panoramic 240° mosquito net, letting you fall asleep under the stars.
Comfort and functionality without compromise
The Kipling comes with a full kitchen, compact hob, and a 51-litre compressor fridge, along with smart storage solutions throughout the interior. For those who want a toilet, a discreet pull-out cassette toilet is cleverly integrated beneath the fridge. And what makes the Kipling extra appealing for everyday use: it retains full functionality while on the move – no folding, building, or dismantling required to travel from A to B.
Westfalia’s heritage meets innovation
With over 75 years of history, Westfalia is renowned for durability, safety, and quality.
