New COPA on FORD TOURNEO

The long-awaited COPA on the new Ford Custom Tourneo is finally in our showrooms! And good news: the original and highly tasted layouts of the Copa (C500 and C530) remain unchanged!

In fact, Bürstner has optimised them even further, so that mini camper enthusiasts will enjoy these two success models even more:

• The lower bench has been widened by 10cm and now offers a comfortable 106cm seat width. Consequently, the width of the lower bed also increases by the same dimension and the free shoulder width is now even 118cm!
• The sofa has been newly developed and now features two integrated headrests. The roll system of the sofa has been improved so that you can move the seat even more easily. The sofa bed is now even easier to transform into a comfortable bed for a refreshing night's sleep. On top of that, you now enjoy a variable headboard so you can easily adjust the top of your bed and also put it in "relax" position with one move.
• Pop-up bed bigger: measuring 198x116cm, the size of the pop-up bed has also increased considerably and you now even have 130cm shoulder width.
• Lots of small improvements: such as additional USB connections, an outlet nozzle from the heater for the pop-up roof, dirty water tank now also co-heated, etc...

But of course, the biggest innovation is the chassis: the new Ford Tourneo Custom. The V710 version, as it is called internally at Ford, is completely newly developed and available in 2 motorisations (136 or 170hp), manual or automatic and the 170hp automatic is even available in 4x4. Besides the white exterior colour, you can order it in 4 optional metallic colours: Azur blue, Lunar grey, Magnetic grey and Matter grey.

The new Ford Custom Tourneo now has a lot of comfort items as standard, such as independent suspension on front and rear axles and LED headlights for a safer driving experience.

Furthermore, the on-board technological equipment in particular goes up a notch. As standard, you get two large displays on the dashboard: a 12-inch digital counter that is configurable and includes a very complete on-board computer. The second and central screen is 13 inches with touch, with horizontal positioning slightly facing the driver. That includes the latest generation of Ford's infotainment system, Sync 4, and offers all the modern gadgets you also find in new passenger cars (wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, over-the-air updates, etc.).

All the comfort and driving assistance systems of a modern travel sedan can now also be found (optional or not) on the new COPA: pro-collision assistant, adaptive cruise control, blind spot warning, lane departure assistant, blind spot warning, traffic sign recognition, induction charging point for your smartphone, reverse emergency braking assistant...
