Vanomobil Family Day 2023

At the end of the summer, all colleagues from the various branches and their families were invited to our Vanomobil Family Day in Avanco, Aalbeke. We gathered under a stretch tent by the pond, a promising, attractive location.

The day started with happy reunions and new encounters with an aperitif. In the afternoon we enjoyed fries, hot dogs and/or Asian food. A faint sun wanted to join us, but the clouds just didn't let her through. Not bad, because there was still an active afternoon ahead.

All parents and children were able to participate in various activities for all ages. While some “risked their lives” on the high-altitude course or the quad bikes, others took up a bow and arrow or a gel blaster. Many backs were forced trying to do better than other colleagues or their children during the activities, but some sensibles among us also just opted for the quiet folk games.

At the end of the afternoon we enjoyed ice creams, waffles and fruit skewers while the winner of the competition was announced. Kéjll guessed the closest to the correct answer and won a helicopter flight! He had to postpone his ice cream, because the helicopter was already there! With this spectacle the day quietly came to an end.

Many happy faces left tired but satisfied. Thank you to everyone present for your enthusiasm and especially to Ignace and Véronique for this wonderful initiative.
