In many countries, in certain circumstances, it is compulsory to use snow chains. The roads where snow chains are compulsory are indicated by a special road sign. HTD Saferoad snow chains then offer a solution in these circumstances. The HTD Saferoad snow chains are made of 16mm hardened chain links and are suitable for motorhomes and motorhomes up to 3500kg. Due to the special cross track, this chain has good grip on the road surface in winter weather conditions.
The snow chains come in a set of two. Always mount the snow chains on the driven wheels, for four-wheel-drive cars mount the snow chain on the front wheels. The HTD Saferoad snow chains are easy to fit, even when there is little space between the tyre and the wheel arch. The tensioning system ensures that the chain is easily in the right place. Check the chain after about 100 metres and tighten if necessary.
