Discover the KNAUS Tourer Van: a fully-fledged motorhome with the handling of a mono-volume and smaller than a campervan!

The task given to the KNAUS designers two years ago when they launched the TOURER VAN project was no mean feat: to combine the driving pleasure of a car with the space and comfort of a fully-fledged motorhome.

It had to be the ideal camper for long trips (up to 2 months) with two, where every destination, however adventurous, is accessible! Moreover, the traveller could not compromise on comfort, which means an interior width and height of at least 2 metres, a double bed of at least 2m long, a fully-fledged kitchen with a fridge of at least 90L, a fully-fledged bathroom with a separate shower cubicle and a bicycle garage for 2 bicycles!

For the chassis, they chose, not surprisingly, the VW T6.1, the most iconic chassis in our sector, respectfully called "Bulli" in Germany, because this chassis offers a handling indistinguishable from a luxury saloon. On top of that, you can order every driving aid and safety system imaginable, which is not the case with others.

You can't call the bodywork a miracle, but it is certainly a technical masterpiece: how do you manage to fit all these requirements into a travel vehicle of only 5.89m in length (longest possible body on a T6)? The magic word: multifunctional solutions like the Xpand bathroom!

We ordered this TOURER VAN in the 'Vansation' version. This limited range offers you a whole host of usefull extras at a limited extra cost.

The Vansation pack includes the following equipment:

Oh yes, before we forget, of course this KNAUS (like all KNAUS models, by the way) is equipped for extreme winter weather thanks to excellent and extremely well-kept insulation, a powerful TRUMA diesel heater and an insulated and, if necessary, heated holding tank.
