  • Description

With the new SKY TI, Knaus leaves behind the familiar Fiat Ducato chassis in favour of the VW Crafter. That makes the SKY TI the first low-profile motorhome at full width (2.32 m) built on the Crafter: until now, choosing VW always meant choosing a narrower motorhome. The model pairs a standard automatic transmission with the GSR II safety package (emergency brake assist, lane keeping assist, traffic sign recognition and fatigue detection), for a driving experience that feels closer to a passenger car than a van.

The standout feature is the largest openable real-glass panoramic window Knaus has ever fitted into a cab roof, bringing in exceptional light and an unobstructed view of the stars. In the living area, the newly developed face-to-face seating area forms the central meeting point, complemented by a corner kitchen, a 157-litre compressor fridge and fully extendable drawers. At the rear, generous single beds (95 cm of headroom) and a separate washroom and shower add further comfort, all above a heated, threshold-free double floor.

The SKY TI comes in three floorplans: the compact 650 MEG (6.99 m), the 700 DEG (7.50 m, with a spacious bathroom concept) and the 700 DX (7.50 m, with a queen-size bed).

The SKY TI VW is available in seven body colour combinations, each pairing a cab colour with a bodywork colour: white, Campovolo grey, silver metallic and indium grey, available in matching or contrasting combinations.
