Camping Vanomobil 2025 Vleteren: an unforgettable weekend with Vanomobil
From May 16 to 18, 55 Vanomobil motorhomes gathered at the Sixtusbos motorhome site in Vleteren for an amazing weekend full of sports, fun, delicious food, and above all, lots of laughter. Read all about Camping Vanomobil 2025 here.
Friday: First Encounters and Cozy Vibes
The location turned out to be perfectly chosen: Sixtusbos motorhome site in Vleteren, run by farmer Danny, is peacefully situated among fields, woods, and hop farms. Upon arrival, Ignace, Veronique, and their colleagues gave guests a warm welcome. The site was transformed into a true Vanomobil Camper Village, with the recognizable beach flags fluttering between the 55 motorhomes. It was wonderful to finally see familiar faces again or to meet new customers. The atmosphere among the like-minded attendees clicked immediately. In the evening, everyone gathered for a welcome drink and freshly made fries. The tone for a top weekend was set from the very beginning.

Saturday: Freedom and Relaxation
Saturday began perfectly with a lavish breakfast: oven-fresh rolls, pastries, and the delightful aroma of fresh coffee. Everyone could spend the day as they pleased—some went for a walk, others visited De Vrede at the monastery, a group set off on a bike ride, and others simply enjoyed the peace and quiet. Exactly what we were all here for: freedom and relaxation.

When the sun came out in the afternoon, it was time for an aperitif. We lined up all our tables and chairs to enjoy a barbecue feast. The setting sun made the moment even more perfect, but then came a surprise: a raffle with no fewer than ten lucky winners!

Sunday: Barista Coffee and the Great Sneukeltocht
On Sunday, we woke up to the smell of fresh coffee—but this time with an extra treat: real barista-made coffee, including cappuccino, espresso, and macchiato. What a luxury! After a quick breakfast, it was time to start the "sneukeltocht" (tasting tour).

Cyclists tackled a 55-kilometer route through the Flemish countryside, while the walkers enjoyed a 15-kilometer hike. Both routes featured three delicious stops: a St. Bernardus beer, fresh sandwiches with a glass of Picon, and, as the cherry on top, homemade ice cream at Ateljee 5 (also a Vanomobil customer)

Craving More!
It was a weekend full of sports, joy, delicious food, and—above all—laughter. For us and our customers, it was a chance to meet other Vanomobil owners and to share our passion for motorhome travel.
